I've not watched much of Alex Scott at all , so can't judge how good s player. He is obvs talented with the queue of clubs interested in the lad. But as you say Dave, how will he fit in the side and get minutes. Central mid is probably our strongest position at the moment. Would he improve that area of the field?
Quality right back, central defender, striker, and possibly another wide player (that can actually deliver goals and assists) would be where I prioritise if in charge. If we are FFP restricted for cash £20m on a central mid is a lot of money that could be used elsewhere.

We do seemed pretty stacked in central midfield- but mostly with defensive midfielders? Hopefully the lad Scott is more attack-orientated- driving forward with the ball and I would see him playing infront of say Nunes and Lemina in a midfield trio?
