  1. well, this is the time for xavi to experiment, I think with new players, they can be unpredictable. with 22 players, xavi actually can build 3 main system by rotating them. sometimes a player dont need to play 3 games in a week, 1 game per week is enough, maximum is 2. he also could add la masia as additional. if they meet strong team, the best one play, with performing players as additional. facing low block, u can play more youngsters and 2 veteran. sergi and lenglet is very okay to guide them. mid tier like sociedad , bilbao, u can use player like ansu , raphinha and ferran, gavi also can play here. that way, araujo, fdj, pedri, gundogan can play in the important match with healthy body.

  2. Well I said it before… gundogan is here to support pedri.. now we will see gundogan in his full potential… we not suppose to play them together in the first place.. with pefri quick recovery but it's best to be tested now than mid season when shit are going down..

  3. Pedri has been over played since he set foot at Barca. That's down to 2 things. Other midfielders are not stepping up and the coaching staff not giving him a break

  4. Start Fermin Lopez. He could not have had a better pre-seaon. Time for Xavi to put his words into action and trust the academy players to show their talent. Pedri, Gavi, Balde, Ansu all were (too) young to start far barca but were given a chance to flourish by Koeman.

  5. That boy is always injured it seems? I don't know if it's because we tend to overplay him? The way we train, bad physios, or if he is somehow built to be injury prone? It's a real shame! Perhaps this means we should bank on other players going forward! We cannot let ourselves be too reliant on playerrs like Pedri and Araujo, because, sadley, they are very injury prone. Or better yet – We need a setup were; if we have these players available – GREAT. Like a bonus. But a setup that works regardless of who is available.

Those two players are simply just too injured, and with Barca's (bad)luck in recent years, when the deciding games in the UCL are to be played, we'll most likely have several key players out injured… The key is to not be reliant on which players are available. This is Xavi's responsibility to come up with a concept/tactics that fundamentally works, regardless of which players are performing the tasks required, thus making these losses less hurtful to our team. The very best manager can do this. Their succes are first and foremost based on the tactics they employ, and their ability to get the very best out of their players, by making it very clear what part they have to play. When these things are in place, there really isn't too much difference between players on this level. Certainly not a devasting gap. Injuries does not make the ultimate difference, if the structure is in place.

  6. This club is such a joke sometimes. Pedri has never been injury-prone, now Mr. Glass. Dembele was sound in Dortmund, Mr. Hospital at Barça. The list goes on and on. Remember when all CBs were out in CL last season? Without their full squad depth, this club won't be competitive again.
