      Signing Mount mystified me at the time, we urgently needed defensive or at least athletic/physical midfielders, not another tippy tappy type. Prime Roy Keane or Vieira would be ideal for United, plus wingers who actually track back. Far too many lazy players who don't compensate with plenty of goals to justify their place.

      Agree with Danny that Mounts best position is wide. This where Tuchel played hin when he won the Champions league. There is no evidence that Mount has ever been good as an 8. Only that dumb southgate plays him there .

      You cannot expect a midfielder to be the only defensive man in the middle of the pitch it’s down to the tactics as it clear that United doesn’t attack as they used to under Ferguson & they are a long way from terrorising teams at old Trafford as they don’t have the personalities at the club

      The day I realized Pep is ahead of his time was when he started playing David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne as dual eights. Managers now want to play with two defensive midfielders but still get beat.

      Unles you have a system that supports Fernández, expect to get battered…Wolves were sooo unlucky…Brighton, Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal must all be licking their lips at the prospect of playing united

      Okay guys, let's look at Steven Gerrard, he had to be put out on the wing and was made to play in the number 10 role because he could not defend in a team structure. Yes, he would make some excellent tackles as a lone wolf. Dare I say, this is the same for players such as Pogba and Fernandez, but not highlighted with certain English players.

      BTW Danny. First 18months for Fernandes, his defensive discipline was better than most MFs. Did what Rooney did famously.
      Just the last year or so he's been only forward.

      due to being treated in a bad way,
      All Man Utd managers play a team full of the overpaid , numerous attackers , have done for years
      Because that's all the owners will buy
      Paying a manager to quit is always cheaper than buying players

      I have always been quiet on ten hag I was wary , but now I m unsure on his management and tactical nous. Premier league is the toughest league no doubt only 2 games played but I think this manager is out of his depth, players look tired or confused or both . New ownership I believe will change ten hag for a proven winner / track record manager.

      Now its Casemiro, it was Mc Tominay then Magiure & De Gea as scapegoats. 🤷‍♂️Truth be told its United the problem . There is no structure, no identity constant changing formations. Counter attack pumping long balls foward. That's not the United way.

      Its not about Ten Hag people saw this coming they signed Casemiro at 30 yrs old its not gonna get better from here. One season in the premier league has exposed his aging body and lack of quality. In Madrid he had Kroos and Modric who are all time midfielders in United his lack of quality is getting exposed massively even Guardiola wouldnt want his profile at City you can see the gap between him and Rodri

      I’m fed up of pundits droning on about what has gone wrong when Man Utd aren’t winning.
      Other teams are allowed to play good football too and none of them have a divine right to success.
      If some billionaire tea towel wearing foreigner buys the club and they start winning things again it will be because of the owner’s money not the club’s endeavours, just like City do now and Chelsea did under Abramavich.
      Listening to supporters bleating that their clubs aren’t successful because the owners don’t buy trophies for them is embarrassing.
      Why won’t any of the so called experts admit this live on air?
