  1. Antony's decision making has been bad since day 1.. Only ever his decision making was good was that Dalot goal in the league. Apart from tht 1 paas, his decision making has been bad. It's simple. Sancho has to play there..

  2. This team have no creativity, All the attackers are selfish either they shoot from 30 yards or make bad decision. Bruno hitting random long balls and hoping someone will be at the other end to receive. It’s sad to say after a year at the club ETH have no style of play and keep playing at the wrong position

  3. Mount off the right progressing the ball through combination play with AWB could be a solution if we sign Amrabat in the midfield role. I think even if we play McTominay in that role and shift Mount out there, we'd benefit more and have the added benefit of height and physicality in midfield to counter press and defend in transition more effectively than we are currently. McTominay's ability to carry from deep as well can be useful depending on the situation. Not sure why we haven't done this yet.

  4. Ten hag is doing with antony what Jose did with matic and what ole did with maguire- backing his signing no matter what…what he needs to remember is towards the end of those managers tenures it was those same players who poor performances contributed to their sack. I actually think Antony’s fiery attitude will see him up his game if ten hag is bold enough to give pellestri a run in the starting 11

  5. I've been saying this since last year. Antony will never be a great or world class player for Utd or anyone. He not only lacks the skill to beat EPL defenders, but also lacks basic skills to be great anywhere. And most importantly, he's a bad character and has a horrible attitude.

Erik made a HUGE mistake forcing our front office to buy this guy. He's worth 20-30 mil at the absolute most! Erik is proving to be a very strange coach at this point now. I was ALL for him coming in and completely changing this team and making smart decisions, changing the way we play and lineup. But some of the choices he made last year and now this year are very worrying. The first one being, that he made Utd pay an absolutely INSANE transfer fee for Antony. He's never going to be anywhere near worth what they paid for him and is just another example of Utd wasting money. And it's extremely weird that Erik (who is seemingly very intelligent) would stick his neck out for this guy and ask for a record transfer fee for a player that has no record of scoring lots of goals, providing lots of assists or being an amazing player. And especially seeing that he's coming form the Eredivisie, a league that is miles lower than most of the other big European leagues. He has 18 goals at Ajax in 57 appearances. Not horrific, but definitely nothing to get excited about. 6 goals in 48 appearances in Sao Paolo. And 4 goals in 27 appearances for Utd. Those are NOT good numbers at all.

The second being that he continues to not tell Harry Maguire to not let the door hit him on the way out! It's been clear as day to anyone with a functioning brain, that Maguire is absolutely garbage for at least 2-3 years now. When Utd bought him, I was completely confused. He wasn't good enough for Utd back then, and he's only gotten much much worse each season since. So WHY is Erik playing this charade in public by saying Harry is a good defender, but then he never plays him and says he is going to have to compete if he wants to get into the side? Be a Man and make the easy call. Fire this guy and get in a player that can actually play, because Maguire can not defend. He's atrocious and his attitude is just as bad.

Then I'm really worried about Erik and this new 3-1-6 "in possession" formation with two no 8's that is NOT WORKING AT ALL. It's scary that he would try this so early in the season, when the team is clearly still just trying to put together good performances week in and week out. Which they can't do! So why is he trying to implement this difficult to understand and difficult to play well formation?!?! And why did he pick the exact same team to go out against Tottenham when it was absolutely destroyed by Wolves the week before who are not at the level of Tottenham?!?! That is a very worrying red flag in my mind about Erik. Sure, he is intelligent and has great ideas about how to play football, but I'm really worried about his ignorance of knowing WHEN to switch it up. Play a formation the players know and can carry out well. Work on this other formation as they gain confidence and after the team starts winning and playing well. Slowly start integrating it. I'm not saying Erik is a bust at this point or anything like that. We've had 2 bad games and it's very early in the season. We shouldn't be freaking out and calling for him to get sacked and all that. But he has made some very worrying calls on player acquisitions and tactics/formations/squad choices and that needs to be remedied. Not forced down the teams throat, all the while we keep loosing. That is NOT how you change a team and implement a new strategy of how to play.

And as far as Antony goes, If you watch him at Ajax, the ONLY thing he did well, was dance around some defenders with some fancy footwork and then make a generic pass to someone else. He provides virtually nothing to Utd's attack and is a horrible teammate. Constantly makes the wrong decision. Misses absolute SITTERS in front of the goal all the time. Is really not even that fast. He's quick, but is always easily caught by basically anyone chasing him. Can't make a good pass to save his life (the only pass I've ever seen him make that was fantastic was the preseason game against Lens where he held up, waited for Rashford's run and put it in there perfectly. That's it! Never seen anything like that from him).

In addition, he lacks basic skills that every footballer should have! It's astonishing how he's come this far and is on such a big team with such HORRIFIC shooting and passing. He can barely shoot with his left foot and it's more like a pass. SOO weak. And not very accurate at all. Can't even use his right. And his passing with both feet is childlike at best. And to top it all off, he has a HORRIBLE attitude. He's constantly scowling on the pitch, has a petulant nasty attitude and is constantly getting into fights with other players. Gives up horrible child like fouls because he thinks he was wronged.

He has had a full year, an off season and now 2 games this year to "get used" to the team and the EPL. And it's safe to say, he is not getting it. And it's because of all these issues I've listed. He just doesn't have the talent or ability. And his attitude is horrible. He will go down as another one of Man Utds HUGE MASSIVE flops, along with Pogba and Maguire. The absolute best he can ever be is maybe 10 goals, a few assists and that's it. And that's only IF he changes his attitude and starts carrying more about being a great teammate, playing better and giving his all and dropping the petulant/nasty attitude.

Amad and Pellistri would be a HUGE upgrade to start over Antony and I'm fairly certain Erik made a HUGE mistake bringing this guy to our team. Erik needs to drop him right away and let Pellistri and then Amad have the bulk of the opportunities going forward. They have proven that they will work hard, have great attitudes and actually had much better spells of play then Antony.

  6. No one wants to hear this, but if Antony can’t figure it out the right side, then he needs to go and we play pelestri and Ahmad once there back. can’t keep deluding myself into believing these guys are going to ever get it together

  7. Comparing him to Salah who has 7 years more experience in decision making… and who was at Antony's age getting sold by Chelsea for not being 'immediately good enough in the prem' guys like Atlantis were prob making videos saying Salah wasn't good enough for Chelsea. FFS Give him some time!

  8. Antony is a winger who likes playing amd linking up with a fullback and somehow believes his job is getting the ball to the fullback at the edge of the opposition box to put in the cross for a striker, only in the epl your job as a winger is much more than that, youre responsible for creativity, goals and defensive duties

  9. ETH needs to be questioned, Antony and Mount 150m not well spent, for Antony to succeed we need an outstanding full-back who can overlap which we don't have.

  10. I dont know how with this video you didnt analyse Diallo and Pellestri and what if anything they would bring in that position. As i do believe ETH will just persist with Antony as he knew these problems with Antony existed
