Andre Onana plays with his mentality side and gets it going but our weakeness is the midfield in the last 2 games we've played very bad and got results out of luck because we had a disasterous start last season but then went to finish 3rd last season we've had many leaky starts to seasons many times in the last five years but however the defence they played together more often that usual. All they need is focus and get help from the midfield with Mason Mount it seems like he isn't getting decisions right with Casemiro left alone then yeah it would be bad but players need to get a grip and get their heads together. Players do need to accept critisism but yeah 36 leagues games are gonna be a long ride after the 2 games already. I said it many times 23/24 is gonna be a scary rollercoaster reasons. Teams like Man City will blow you away Arsenal when they gel together they flair past Liverpool when they get all their blasts they go ruthless I hate to say it but it's true Newcastle look hungry and Brighton they are brilliant they will hurt you Aston Villa when they are in the mood they can get it good as for Chelsea and Tottenham they are suprising one week they play so good but then another they look like they won't score a goal.

What a load of crap this is. Great, Onana will be a superstar with his distribution. I can see it now, those long beautiful passes to Antony, who hits the post or may a bullet to Fernandes, who skies his shot or better yet, to Marcus who just shoots wide. My thing isn't that Onana replaced DDG, it's WHEN it was done. In poker there is a saying which is " never change a winning hand". Onana is a luxury signing. Meaning, he wasn't the priority. KANE was. There was no pressing issue at GK. The fact that DDG isn't as good with his feet, is irrelevant. The GK job isn't to dazzle with his feet and passing…….it's to stop Goals and DDG was doing just that. You can harp on his errors, but did anybody see Alison's play this weekend. Should Liverpool now look for another Keeper because of the howlers Alison committed. It's overblown this whole ball playing GK necessity. Real Madrid has won the CL 6 of the last 9 years with Kaylor Navas and Tibaut Coutrois. Neither are known for passing. And how in the world did Argentina win the World Cup with Martinez? The money spent on Onana and Mount right now could have been used for Kane. United's problem wasn't GK. It was lack of a consistent Goal scoring threat. They finished 6th in the league and still managed to finish 3rd in the league. Put it another way, Who would Pep or Klopp or Arteta worry about stopping, Onana or Kane? And anyone who believes he "Levy wouldn't sell to a Prem rival, as yourself this question, do you really think Levy would have said NO to 100mil guarantee for a player in his last year who wasn't going to resign? We'll never know because United never made an attempt. Thank god when he was there SAF never thought that way. Otherwise Van Persie nor Berbatov would never have been at United. So SAF was able to get players from Wenger and Levy but Richard Arnold can't even be bother to make the attempt. Right, well I guess This team now has to hope that Hojlund turns into Haaland.

Onana has been a breath of fresh air in this team. His presence in the will be key for years to come. Also a great leader to have in the dressing room. I have no doubt he will be one our best players!
He could not do a thing about either of the goals against Spurs it was down to poor defending I have said it already Shaw just stood there and did nothing to stop the first goal whenever he has no direct LB competition he plays within himself
We wont see the full use of Onana until we have a center forward that can take his passes on the chest or over the top hoping once Hojlund is up to speed and Rashford is out on the left will change the way we play completely we look bang average right now

All of them are struggling compared to last season. Onana is a world class goal keeper. In a nutshell, our defence is reasonable, our midfield is non existent. You could run a bus throughout the middle. Rashford is not a Striker and belongs on the left. Antony shouldn’t start, I would bring him on 60th minute.

It takes a new manager roughly 3yrs to build a squad, the manager believes is competitive all round. The team needs to have the mentality that they are not beaten until the whistle goes. That's what the class of 99 had, and that's why they done the treble. Look at the changes the team have made already..
A manager needs to win silverware by their 3rd season. Well ETH has won a cup already and could've been 2. There is concerns but you get that with every club. We need to wait for the 24 – 25 season. That's when we, the fans, want to see complete progress. I believe in ETH. GLAZERS OUT

Need to talk about the midfield outside of bruno and the right wing. This team has been shocking in those areas.
You go above and beyond to hype Onana, or in general that “modern GK”, he might be a great GK, he might be what Utd needs to play from the back.
BUTTTT! DDG was one of the players who wasn’t urgent to replace, replacing DDG was necessary at some point, but that wasn’t NOW.
That 46 Million could have been used to reinforce the CDM, CB and ST positions, you can play Pirlo in the goal, but if you don’t have the proper midfield, that won’t do shit.
We wasted almost 50 million on luxury signing, end of story.
