As much as I like Declan, I think Tonali (especially given how much Newcastle paid for him) was a lot better deal.
Essien, Makelele, Yaya Toure, Gerrard, Keane, Vieira, Scholes, Lampard etc, Rice will never be mentioned in the same catagory at the end of his career, as the players I just mentioned. I would not even put him on the level of Henderson, I think Henderson is a level above him. Yet Henderson isn't on the players levels I just mentioned, Arsenal have paid way too much for him. Arsenal want him to be their Rodri, he is nowhere near the level of Rodri. West Ham and the british pundits and media, have done an excellent job, in over hyping an English playeronce again. Which has fooled Arsenal in to paying so much for him, we have seen it so many times with English Midfielders being over hyped. We have had it with Rodwell, Bentley, Jenas, Barkley, Alli, now Phillips at Man City. So its nothing new, we will see in the future, how Rice gets on.
