Axel Disasi has given his first interview as chelsea`s new defender . The french international spoke about his defending  style and described himself as a “modern defender of the this generation

Disasi will replace fofana at chelsea for next season. The french defender  has signed a five-year contract and is ready to show his potential at stamford bridge 

 He said 

I’m very comfortable playing from the back but it depends. I think the most important thing is to recognise the situation and that’s what I do myself, read the situation, especially what the team needs in certain moments,

Disasi is a powerful centre-back who is an asset in both boxes, and he has the rare distinction of having made his France debut at the World Cup, 

He is primarily a centre-back, but he can also operate at right-back, which makes him an asset to teams who flit between a back three and back four, like Chelsea.
