      Do you think Ten Hag will ask the club to sell Maguire so as to get Timber and Pau Torres? I think that would be perfect for United personally, but I do not believe it will happen because Maguire is one of the favourites at the club

      Hey, can you do a video on Inter’s Alessandro Bastoni. I’m surprised you didn’t mention him.

      I love Pau Torres and he’s great but I’d like Utd to hijack Bastoni to Tottenham instead. Similar profile but younger, quicker, stronger, more aggressive, more technical (amazing going forward with a winger’s crossing and dribbling) and would cost around the same fee. Mostly plays in a back three but also played great on the occasions he played in a back 2.

      We should get Timber and Bastoni for CBs
      For the 2 In front of the defense: De Jong and Neves (extremely similar to Lasse Schone (originally a more advanced CM, long shot and set piece demon, average athleticism but great technicality), only even better, creating a similar nucleus to the great 18/19 Ajax side.

      You are absolutely right, this is what i want every United fan to know on what makes a good Back line.
      United have Varane who is Right footed and if Fit excellent in covering, United needs a super tackler who is Left footed since Varane is best when he is on Left Central side hence a right side Dominant CB who can play on Left side if Varane is unfit while Lindelof has brought in. United needs to forget abt Harry Maguire, too outdated defender for modern fast pressing game.

      I was thinking how it wouldn't make any sense to put torres in with varane… But couldn't articulate it properly. Great video as always!

      I don't think United should buy 2 centrebacks unless they can sell Maguire. Timber should be the one partnering Varane who I also think is better than Torres. The money to spend is much more needed for buying 2 top class midfielders (De Jong and Bissouma!) and a forward to cover Ronaldo who can't play all the games next season + the World Cup.

      chances are that Timber will play right-back. United aren’t slated to buy 2 CBs this window as per the profiles being sought this summer. So Torres WILL be the CB with Maguire Varane and Lindelof the other options

      Stam was a complete centre-back. He was a "stopper" a "recovering" centre-back, and a ball playing centre-back all in 1.

      We have 0 stopper CB, so bringing another covering CB is definitely not sustainable. You gonna have Varane, Lindelof, Maguire + Torres. Its time to get a STOPPER

      Maguire was suppose to be that “quarterback” centre back. Ole was our problem, he never knew how to use the players he had. He didn’t know what to do with the ball playing players.

      Personally, I find Man Utd being linked to all these famous players disturbing. I rather they buy multiple young players with huge potential (like the alternatives mentioned here) then 1 or 2 at more than £50mil each.
      Reason being we need more players to replace as much of the current 10 first players. They are not motivated anymore.

      Skrinnier is a brilliant stopper, Schlotterbeck(apparently he's with Dortmund) and Gvardiol have a mix of both, Timber is amazing, Bastoni, Botman are good left footed Cb.

      not buying this stopper covering stuff lol, not saying there is no truth to it but I wouldn't describe Varane as either of those he can literally do everything, and I don't see it as a massive issue regardless

      Timber is cheaper, younger and is a stopper. I know united want a left footed CB but its not essential. United want 6 signings. CB,RB, two CM, RW and striker.

      You rebuild the team completely in one window. Bale on a free is a risk but it also allows for united to not commit mad money this window for the position and allows for united to have Sancho at RW when Bale can't play and gives Rashford time at LW. Also Nunez can play on the left meaning that united would have some great depth on the wings. You can find a long term RW next year when Ronaldo leaves

      Lindelof is a covering centre back and is a terrible defender. We don't need anymore passive centre backs. We need a defender that can make great tackles and block shots. The only centre back in our team that can do it is Bailly but he is injury prone and sometimes reckless. We need a defender like Rudiger or Diego Carlos…we have missed out on both

      Gleison Bremer from Torino should be bought, because he is the best stopper CB. He might be available for 30 million pounds.
      Pau is another covering center back, we already have Varane and Lindelof.

      Sell Maguire but keep Bailly, as he is backup stopper.
      Sell Wan Bissaka and play Timber as inverted RB (he is a better player than defender).
      Buy Laimer or Bissouma for cheap (both have 1 year only) and Neves for affordable sum, We have another brilliant presser+ great passer partnership. Stop wasting time and money on De Jong.
      Buy Sasa Kalajdzic from Stuttgart, another 1 year left player. 20 million tops. Great backup.
      All this can be wrapped up under 150 million.

      Maxence Lacroix 22 6ft 3" at WolfsBurg has much better potential than Pau Torres cos his a front foot defender & can complement Varane's game & valued around 20M worth investing in for the long term.

      Maguire & Lindelof are the 'Usual Suspects', Individually & as a pair cannot defend 'Unacceptable' Not Man Utd type. But Bailly & Varane are 'World Class' Individually & as a pair can defend 'Acceptable' Man Utd type!

      Maguire & Lindelof are too passive & there all round game is Suspect so it best to sell them for around 35M each!

      I would prefer a much more aggressive Goncalo Inacio to pair Varane, with Timber as RB and Malacia in LB. With Sangare and Nkunku in the team

      That's what I learn from Football manager. Now in united, Varane and lindelof are both covering ball playing cb, Maguire is used as a stopper but he made lots of mistakes this season. So I think it's necessary for united to get a stopper type of player and can fit as left CB since both Varane and Lindelof are better at right cb. I think Ndicka is an option but Frankfurt is not gonna to sell him.
