Sarina Wiegman stands on the brink of becoming the first individual to lead an English senior football team to a World Cup on foreign soil when her women’s team face Spain on Sunday, ending a 57-year wait for the top prize in our national game. FA chief Mark Bullingham said that he would seek to appoint ‘the best person for job, when seeking a successor to Southgate, whose contract expires at the end of next year – whether that be a man or woman.

I have actually been waiting for the time female coaches will handle male teams. So if a female coach (she has to have mental strength, strong personality, tactically sound and backed by the federation) manages the Super Eagles I won’t be perturbed but surprised because I won’t expect the NFF to go that route. Though we neither have the system nor environment for that to thrive.
The reason Greenwood is still at United is because he’s an asset, and the whole issue has been handled poorly. What the club should have done send him on a season long loan in June then you can sell him next season on bring him back (left to me , I’ll go with the former). Greenwood’s return will cause an unwanted media frenzy, hate & abuse to player, his family, club fans and the club. Even the dressing room would be broken, it’s just a disgusting ridiculous situation.
