we could’ve just gotten Szobo instead of chasing Gabri Viega all summer, stupid decision from the board honestly considering we were ok with paying 85M for Paqueta just off having a mid ass season. I can’t think of a better KDB replacement than Szobo
When it comes to signing new players, city has to be one of the worst.
City go for a player it drags on and on and they'll probably pull out of it after 3 or 4 weeks of chasing.
City need to get straight in when the window opens stop leaving it so late city.
If hes available, the price is right its a no brainer at this stage
Oihan Sancet would be better in my eyes at least, he's 2 years younger about half the price and doesn't have an injury history like Olmo. Sancet was also Bilbaos' top scorer alongside Inaki Williams but struggled with assists only getting 2 but that's because the whole of Bilbao only scored 47 goals all season.

Would be fuming if we end up selling palmer & mcatee… we have Phillips & Gomez sitting on bench never playing but yet it’s our 2 brightest prospects who are linked with being sold!!! Watch them end up at yanited chelsea Liverpool etc in 1-2 years
Olmo will be KDB replacement but we are still short of players. We need left footed winger who would replace Mahrez. Cancelo is getting sold and we need perfect left back. So, splash a cash bring alphonso davies to the team. We need to buy man, one left footed winger, one attacking midfielder and one left back. Otherwise, this season we will be in big big trouble.
Olmo is the one I want ….my wish list was Gvardiol, Kovacic and Olmo before we were even linked with them so I'm very happy 🙏
Despite all the panick we dont actually have to buy anyone ! Foden and Bernardo would run rings around any team if they play midfield. McAtee and Phillips can also play there, so there is plenty of back up. Defensively we are stacked and two great keepers. Grealish, Palmer can play wide. Foden and Bernardo can play wide if needed. Kovatic is also there too. We will still win the league with this squad
