After selling Sandro Ztonali to Newcastle in the offseason Milan was busy in the transfer window signing Yunus Musah, Samuel Chukwueze, Noah Okafor, Tijani Reijnders, and Christian Pulisic. While these players will take time to get together with the current squad there is no doubt Milan will once again challenge for another Serie A title and solid Champions League campaign. After recording only their 2nd top-10 finish in Serie A since the 2014/15 season Bologna went out and added a few pieces in the offseason in hopes of pushing them to the next step with European qualification in their sights. They performed as one of the best home sides in the league last season in terms of losses having only lost 3 of 19 of those home games. With Milan having already shown a past of letdown games specifically away from home, this shapes up to be an interesting game in the first week and one of the most competitive games across the league.
