    Félix Sánchez created history when he became the first athlete from the Dominican Republic to win an Olympic gold medal. He won the 400m Hurdles at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004, four years later injury and personal tradegy prevented him from producing his best in Beijing. However, Sánchez defied the odds to triumph once again at London 2012. He speaks in dept about his incredible Olympic journey.

      mi idolo. nothing makes me cry as much as hearing my anthem and seeing his face on that podium, even if i was too young to remember it in 2004.

      his win marked a past and a present for the DR. I strongly believe our government would have never started taking sports funding more seriously (and they could still improve) if it wasnt for him. We already had talent in our country, but Felix really showed it to the world

      How much respect and pride the Super Felix deserves. He was able to be part of the most famous athletics team in the world and decided to be on his little land team, where his roots are coming from, the Dominican Republic. That must be remembered and seen forever. Thanks Super Felix. You can easily see his tears almost out again during his whole documentary.

      Talk about how mental pressure can affect, but how visible it is when it really happens. Compare his reactions when he was coming almost in last when he lost, the expression in his face, with over-celebrated Simone Biles' face when she stated " I'm sorry guys , you go without me ( when they needed her the most). Stay sane, don't watch liberal news.

      Now I see Norway having warholm
      It becomes even more evident we Dominicans have such a great champion. Glad to see another nation having such a great champion. Norway is as proud as us Dominicans with their champion.
