It’s still crazy to me that Madrid is able to win big trophies without the injection of oil money that has flooded the big European clubs. They operate in the old model of recruitment and still field competitive teams. Now, however, they could use some additional funds to cover for injuries, but they will (rightly) trust in their current squad and model.
