      This idea chelsea need time to catch up with Arsenal, and City is nonsense. They won the champions league in 2021. This ain't a team that's been promoted from the championship. They've added 900m of talent. Have no europe, so 1 game per week. Of course, they should challenge.

      Not a utd fan but seems like the issue with these fringe players is they are always kept on the periphery of the squad – so they retain hope of regaining their place that they once had.

      I compare the Maguire and McTominay situation to that of say ziyech or lukaku at Chelsea. They aren’t training with the team, they might be allowed to use club facilities in order to stay fit but there are no mixed messages about where they stand and where their futures do and don’t lie.

      Whereas Maguire was on the bench last game as was mctominay and the latter will probably start this week. It isn’t a surprise then when they retain this belief that they are in the manager’s plans and that if they just make it through this tough moment, things will turn around.

      If the club need them out, they shouldn’t be anywhere near a line up on game day.

      Arsenal fan here but Newcastle are not a plastic club. They were in a title race and got into the Champions league without oil money or a takeover. Poor management saw them decline and become a relegation team. Newcastle were never as irrelevant as Manchester City and Chelsea before there takeover.

      For superchat 2 but Caicedo and Lavia aren’t the best midfielders in the prem. They are young and be the best but they aren’t right now. It’s not fair for us to expect to compete against Man City and Arsenal quite yet. Not this year. Rodri, Rice, De bruyne, odegaard, Bernardo Silva, etc are all still better then are our midfield this year

      I hate it when people say it's "Trophies or bust" for Arteta at Arsenal.

      It's not just winning trophies, it's consistently competing for the trophies that matters, if we for example don't win a trophy but finish 2nd in the Premier League only a few points behind the winners and we get to the knockouts of the Champions League, the Quarters of F.A and/or League Cup, do you think the board would sack Arteta? Cause I certainly don't, we aren't run like that or Arteta would've been gone by 2021.

      If we fall off and can only manage 5th and not make it out the groups in CL and get knocked out early on in domestic cups, then something might have to change but it is NOT "trophies or bust"

      Arteta has brought the heart and soul back to Arsenal that was lost for many years, I don't have the luxury of going to matches consistently but I did go to The Emirates Cup 2022 and even though its only a pre-season, the crowd were electric and louder than any premier league/cup match I've been to.

      P.S Regardless of how long, it's absolutely heartbreaking what's happened to Timber, Iv watched every pre season game and he has been stand out every time. All the best Timber we are behind you ❤️🤍
