We were in for him before West Ham bought him. I remember City showed intention, I'm totally up for it, if our Scouts have identified him as a Pep player then bring him, we need some Brazilian flair in our squad too 🙂

From our perspective it works on the principle of another quality player which allows Pep to shuffle the deck as he see fit. But for me I cannot see it. He has along contract at WHU, they have cash in the bank and are under no pressure to sell and loosing him and Rice in one window seems just a step too far. Nice thought but too hard to get done.
I prefer a winger like Olise, I like Silva better inside
What position does Phil Foden play?
I am okay with Paqueta but it does not excite – he rotted a bit under Moyes – but worries more is if this would signal a late move of Bernardo in the window – if that happens I will not be happy with this transfer

Paqueta is a very good player but I just don’t see the point honestly. I’d love for Mcatee and Foden to get minutes in the middle

For the amount they want for him, I’d rather see Wirtz and Doku. We need attack/creativity in the middle, and a pacey winger. Not excited about this tbh for the amount we’d need to spend to get Lucas.
Paqueta is a gud deal for city additional midfielder . doesn't need to buy any winger so that Foden could operated as both flankers . Jack & Gomez = LW Bernardo & Cole = RW . if cole goin for loan or for sold oscar defo could replace that position
