Liverpool could approach Wolves’ Matheus Nunes as the club assess their options over a midfield rebuild.

A late move for Moises Caicedo proved fruitless as Chelsea managed to secure the former Brighton player’s services for a British record £115 million, while Romeo Lavia has had his head turned and looks set for a move to Stamford Bridge as well.

The club has liked Nunes as far back as last year when was playing for Sporting CP and now the side is weighing up another approach for the 24-year-old.

  1. Matheus Nunes is good player then Why waste time because Liverpool don't know which player they want that's Why Liverpool Drew the game with Chelsea every time you hear Liverpool in Talks with players but no player's is signed wat is going on with Liverpool

  2. Clearly Liverpool have lost their lure to attract star players, the message out there is that we are not ambitious enough , even to challenge for fourth place.
