I’m just not sure the other Big 12 teams get enough credit for holding Texas down. A good example of having all the resources in the world, but hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard. It’s a grungy conference and OU got away with many close wins even during their run. Been 2 years since a blue blood didn’t win the conference. How many times does that happen in the Big 10 or SEC?

Penn State is not a threat to Michigan or OSU.
And while its possible PSU could upset anyone at home as they are diff at home its just as possible they could lose a few on the road to Illinois or MSU and definitely OSU.
I do think the games in Happy Valley being played at noon make an upset less likely though and make it also likely that a team like Illinois could upset them, say, in overtime.
This is why you can't debate yourself past the 2 powers it must be earn on the field.

Penn State can absolutely beat Michigan and Ohio State. They’re loaded. They’re as talented and deep as any team in America. James Franklin is their Achilles heel. If he is B+ or better psu is headed to the playoffs this year.

That was phenomenally put Pac12 has been scheduling 4 parity for 20yrs. Meanwhile the SEC has been intentionally scheduling(manipulating) 4 each team to be bowl eligible and their top teams to go to natty! Georgia plays Bama in the regular season once evry 5 yrs😂😂 cowardly!!!
Hey Joel, Texas hasn’t been picked to win the Big 12 since 2009. So it’s been over a decade since they were considered the best team in the Big 12
We do this every single year with penn state. They have 2 tough games a year. Lose both of them. Back their way into a participation trophy NY6 game, rinse and repeat
