Harry Kane has left the building & Tottenham Hotspur with Ange Postecolgou had to start the Premier League season with this last minute change away to a well oiled Brentford team. Son Hueng-Min , Richarlison & Dejan Kulusevski feels like the best front 3 to go with but it was clear they had not prepared for this well enough. Yves Bissouma & James Maddison looked good playing AngeBall as did Destiny Udogie. Pass marks on debut for new signing Micky van de Ven who had to play alongside Davison Sanchez for the majority of the game after Cristian Romero was subbed off after scoring for a suspected head injury situaition/ concusion protocol. Added on top of this a VERY unjust penalty Spurs can feel hard done to! VAR let themselves down with this terrible decision, so much so Brentford have a right to be upset about a penalty not awarded that was still never a penalty but more so than what was previously awarded. Brentford were good and a defeat would’ve been a difficult result for them, this match was very well contested.

Bissouma in the McGregor role. He was immense
Nearly every brentford chance came from D. Sanchez being sucked into midfield and leaving VDV with a massive hole to cover. Sanchez is abysmal
Spurs ate going to be higher than most predicted this season if that performance is anything to go by!
Went straight to draft Bissouma with a minimum cost of 40 points, he was brilliant
