  1. True.
But AWB might also continue his improvement – I certainly hope so; he seems a smart, dedicated (and humble, which I also like) total pro.
UTD are blessed by their competition.
Both probably need to get more used too to lung-busting recovery runs, in the event of turnovers high up the pitch, as UTD progressively play more in possession.

  2. I prefer AWB but i do like Dalot, the weird thing is both offer what the other lacks in both in attack n defense. i.e. AWB is way better tackler not jus 1v1 but also last ditch n also far better jus in isolated situations, Dalot is a better long passer, AWB is a better far dribbler n a better short passer (underrated 4 both coz ppl dnt actually watch him play), Dalot has far better technique striking at goal n has a better weak foot, reading of the game wise they both have mishaps tho n crossing wise AWB doesnt really like to lift the ball, prefers a low ball whilst Dalot overhits his crosses. 1 seems more comfortable hugging the touchline (AWB use to be a winger so makes sense) n the other more in the middle of the park in the half spaces between the centre n touchline. I'd be fine keeping both

  3. I would go for Dalot purely for the passing range, neither are good in the final third but the way United set up it’s more important they have midfielder like qualities. As much as AWB has improved, you can’t just teach a player to perform switches of play or be able to execute through balls on a regular basis.

I get the argument of playing AWB against top sides but then United will be settling for second best instead of controlling the game cause they would be weaker in build up

  4. Don’t know why you keep pushing this Wan-Bissaka agenda. So what he can’t attack like the rest of them. The guy is a solid defender already. Whatever attacking duties the manager wants can be coached into him. There’s no reason to go for any RB for at least another 5 seasons.

  5. Honestly dalot just isn't good enough and wan bisaka is one dimensional, we need another rb but that's not really a priority now

  6. Fully agree with this. Don't know whether Dalot can become top level but his all-round game is more polished. AWB cannot improve much more at all. Think next season you look to replace AWB but I'm not that keen on Frimpong so not sure who.

  7. I think your not factoring Onana,
it wount be anything like last season with him on…
He sorts out the passing range qsn better than Dalot…
It will be a high line pushing the team forward,
    Onana needs an outlet,
The mid will be conjested and Dalots short passing is terrible-the lazy pass demonstrates it-and the consequeces will be insane in this system as we all saw…
With a high line we dont need a RB who is running the channels or half spaces or even crossing so much since the specialised player in that position an Antony/Sancho or whoever for example will be doing that better than Dalot would..But you will need a stealer Defender who can track back since teams will be trying to loop the ball behind and utilise the space created by the high line and a good outlet for Onana with intricate short passes in a conjested Midfield and AWB excells in both…
Last season ETH was just utilising what he had as best he could-i,but will slowly see ETH ball as he gets more players in who can play in the system he truely wants…

  8. AWB has improved so much, but he's still not the right fit. Best slide-tackler in the league, but not the type of RB to fit this system. Dalot is the better of the two for that, but we need to sign an elite RB in the next part of the rebuild.

  9. I love Dalot I really want him to succeed and get his form back, good to have wan-bissaka as an option tho. he'll be crutial to us in big games against the likes of Vinicius Junior etc.

  10. Im tired of these stat merchants, that aren't glaring contributing to a player complete quality in a 90 min match! Dalot is okay, but he alongside AWB are just Okay players, it's that simple. Can they elevate, maybe, but here right now, just average

  11. Good take, at the end of the day we blessed to have both of them. against tougher opponents and deadly wingers no way dalot is starting imo. against so called weaker opponents would definitely play dalot over bissaka.

  12. Dalot And Bissaka with marc jurado coming through the youth system. Yeah, United don't need right backs for the next 5-6 years.
Dalot is better offensively and Bissaka defensively. I'd say we have a good balance.

  13. Before the world cup last season, I think Dalot was already performing as the best RB in the league. But he dropped off a fair bit in the second half of the season and AWB overtook him. But overall Dalot is the more complete, modern RB and in the long term is the better fit for ETH.

  14. I think it’s great the way ETH switched between them last season after Dalot recovered – exactly as you said – fast wingers – AWB preferred. This will keep them both hungry and improving to their potential and also keep their playing minutes manageable keeping them fresh.

  15. Great video. I couldn’t agree more with literally everything said here. I’ve been saying since last season that Dalot actually has unbelievable potential in my eyes. Whereas, I don’t see AWB improving much more than where he’s at rn. For me, AWB is very good at what he does, but he’s FAR too one-dimensional, and there are multiple things that he is nowhere near good enough at. For example, his short passing, link-up play, take-ons, and obviously, his 1v1 defending is incredible. However, his range of passing, defensive positioning, and especially his defensive awareness are all lacking massively. This makes him very readable, he lacks the danger and creativity on the ball that Dalot has. Dalot doesn’t have anything he’s really bad at tbh. There are a few things he’s average at, and needs to improve, like his crossing, but the only massive problem is his lack of consistency, which I think can be worked on. I actually consider both of them more defensive RB’s, and I’d genuinely say that AWB is better than Dalot in the final third. Although, I do think Dalot has the technical ability to become very good in these areas.
