During Crystal Palace’s first game of the season, their coach Roy Hodgson got into a disagreement with a Sheffield United player.

Crystal Palace was winning 1-0, and a player from Sheffield United, Max Lowe, wanted to throw the ball back into the game quickly. But Hodgson, who is 76 years old, wanted to slow things down. When Lowe tried to pick up the ball, Hodgson pushed him, and there was a small fight on the side of the field. Another player, Jordan Ayew, also joined in.

Hodgson has been the coach of Crystal Palace for a while. He started last season and signed a contract to stay with the team for another year. In this game, Crystal Palace won 1-0 with a goal from Odsonne Edouard. They got three points, which is good. Sheffield United had just gotten promoted, but they will have to wait for their first points.
