Still prepared to see John’s favourites from unattached FC’s, Wotherspoon and Hoilett, and probably out-of-form Cavallini and Fraser over these new younger guys who deserve it more.
We would be silly to leave knight-lebel and goodman with their clubs— if it’s between those two or Zator + Borjan on the bench, we should prioritise giving experiences to new, uncommitted young players with high ceilings. Knight-Lebel is an 18-year old EFL Champ. CB… we should be rolling out the red carpet for him to commit.
Shaffelburg has to be on this list. He’s played well for Nashville all season and showed up at the Gold cup when needed.
