We are purchasing too many players again. Focus on the gaps in the first team on a bigger squad. Poch has made it clear that he wants a smaller squad but it does not look as though he is going to get that.

We now have a raft of central defenders, Colwell has already said he wants guaranteed play time and Poch has also stated in a generalised stmt that is not going to happen. He only wants players who wants to work and earn their right. So my personal belief he will be released under the Caceido transfer. I only hope we value him very high, say 50m at least.
Hard pass on Mbappe. It would be short term and this is a key moment in Chelsea building a cohesive squad for the future. A short term mega signing would only disrupt that.
Interesting times in Chelsea's defense. I expect that either Colwill or Chalobah will be sold by the end of the window. If we look ahead to next year, assuming Silva retires or is phased out, we would have Disasi, Badiashile, Fofana, Colwill, and Chalobah all fighting for 2 spots.
