Hes certainly not worth half of what Liverpool offered but hey, this is the world of football today where players with obly one season experiende are sold for 70-100 million and everyone acts like it's normal… I also dont see pundits talking about hia value. If this was an Arsenal offer, the price tag would have been a topic for days, if not a whole season. Caicedo is decent but I'd rather pay that amount for Mitoma or half for Lavia who's much better technically and can score

I really cant seem to understand why player plus cash deals arent more common in these situations. Chelsea have so many surplus players they could use as make weight to pay lower the fee. I think likes of Chukwumeka or even Gallagher could have been used in this deal, I can think of no objections to why they wouldnt go to Brighton, they're a better team than Chelsea.
