      What has his touching the sign got to do with their abysmally shambolic performance? Please enough of this jokes, it's Anfield he touched he didn't kill anyone. He left at 4-0 and his sustitute got them another 3 after.

      The Liverpool "this is anfield" sign is a symbol of greatness and history at LFC and only players that win silverware there are allowed to touch it. Klopp even had to tell off Gakpo for touching it recently.

      It's a sign of respect for the tradition of the club and those who dont know that don't know the significance it holds. It's not really outrage so much as it is being respectful.

      And weghorst knew that. Because otherwise why would you do it?

      Recently saw a video of Ronaldo as a man UTD player not stepping on the logo of another team as he walked back in the tunnel. It's simple things like that that mean a whole lot. When you disregard it, it says more about you than another person's outrage about it.

      But Craig, he did it. It obviously means something to him and therefore he did it so it is a talking point. And it's going to set a precedent now and that sign's meaning is going to go up in prestige even more.

      For someone who contributes nothing to United, Weghorst should steer clear of controversy, and concentrate on his horrible form.

      "when i first come to england i see the sign and then i see the players touch the sign and then they touch the sign and i think it is a good sign and we didn't have a sign at strasbourg but it was a good sign and i would never touch that sign the way liverpool players touched their sign…by the way did i tell you i saw the sign? it opened up my eyes i saw the sign!       I must apologize to Ronaldo fans for trolling them too much keeping in mind that they already suffered so much! They had a hard time and 2022 was awful for them. They saw their idol failing to score goals, getting benched, rejected and humiliated and becoming irrelevant in football while his greatest rival went on to win the World Cup and securing his spot as a footballing God. This must have hurt them too much and made them somewhat mentally unstable. They should forgive me for what I have been doing to them 🙁
