Lionel Messi’s magic at Inter Miami hasn’t stopped. He played a major role in helping his team beat FC Dallas with a score of 4-4 (3-5 on penalties) in the round of 16 match of the 2023 League Cup at Toyota Stadium, Monday 7 August 2023.

The duel was exciting from the start of the first round. Chasing goals from both teams occurred. Having taken the lead through Messi’s goal, Inter Miami then fell behind due to goals from Facundo Quignon, Bernard Kamungo, Alan Velasco and Robert Taylor’s suicide.

However, Inter Miami appeared extraordinary to catch up through the actions of Benjamin Cremaschi, Marco Farfan’s own goal, and Messi’s second goal from a free kick.
