Mount and Bruno play the same role, so is Donny if he stays, they are all CAMs. Casamiro, Erikson, Mct, Mainoo and FredAmrabat are all CDMs. So unless Ten Hag is changing formation from the 4-2-3-1 to 4-1-2-3 or 4-1-4-1 Mount and Bruno should not play together. He is playing Mount as CDM or Bruno as RM is out of position… so far this did not work in my opinion.

Just like how De Gia and Onana are not same kind of GKs, not all Midfielders are the same kind.

Garnacho’s next step needs to be the final ball. He often puts too much power on his pass or shots and has a lot of shots blocked. Just requires a little more refinement and we’ve got a superstar on our hands

United should try a 3-5-2 instead of the 3-1-6..our midfield is been easily exploited and easily lose possession then ends up costing us in defense during transition then eventually concede very easily

The midfield improved with Bruno deeper and Mount playing higher and then alternating but I also like Mount's off the ball work which might impress Ten Hag. He linked up play well and got in good positions so definitely saw the plan.
