Do you think a Thomas Partey – Declan Rice midfield can co-exist?
Parteys class as a CDM is hard to duplicate atm. Our second best DM I'd say is Jorginho, especially if Havertz is also on the pitch. These two are amazing at evading pressure and passing forward. Declan is amazing further up the pitch, you saw how he cut the Monaco defense open on several occasions. He should even have scored, he's amazing at moving foreward and never losing the ball. You saw how often ESR lost the ball and put our defense under pressure. Thank goodness Saliba didn't get sent off.
Great stuff as always. For your next pod, how do you see the left back competition playing out since Zenchenko hasn't played during the preseason? Do you think Timber, Kiwior, or Tierney will get to start the season?
Partey, rice, odegaard then havertz comes in as a sub at lcm to finish off. The starting forwards should be nelli nketiah saka. Trossard comes in as a super sub for nelli. He's link with havertz at lcm is quite good. That's my opinion
