France player Raphael Varane said in Doha on Monday that his team has “already done a great competition. Now, the initial objective is to win,” two days before the Qatar World Cup semi-final match against Morocco.
The Manchester United defender also said that Morocco is a “very solid team.”
Later, defender Jules Kounde said the match will be “a beautiful party” because of the ties that historically unite both nations.
The defending champions will be playing their seventh World Cup semi-final.
