Watch out Middle East… the shuffle is coming!
What I find puzzling, fans will criticise Hendo if he goes to the Saudi league over morals yet other fans have no problem with these same countries like Saudi Arabia and Quatar buying Premiership clubs. Ironic or what.
Hendo stands up for LGBTQ and then goes to a place where they ban homosexuality, then goes to a place where they mass execute people for crimes such as slandering the government. (Just read amnesty recorded Saudi human rights record which I will post next) it would be an absolute disgrace and ruin his legacy at the club, as it will do for Gerrad and Bobby. I oppose all players, clubs, and owners who sell there morals and souls in the name of money and close there eyes and ears to the blood and misery that is spilled. I would walk from my beloved lfc if we went down that route, life is more than football.
Love this channel.The Reds xxxx
I think Nat is off to Leeds and I wouldn't blame him, but we have to replace him.
I’ve heard kev O’Sullivan wakes up in a cold sweat every night about our home grown quota
what time are Crunch talks scheduled for in any given day?
We have the players that get to european finals, we are in the realm of Madrid. We had a bad year, our heroes will rise again.

I'm quite torn on this, but overall I'm leaning towards letting Henderson go now. It makes too much sense. On one hand you'd like Henderson to stay to play a bit part role for the next 2 years until his contract expires, and then he retires with us. He's the ultimate utility man: he's the only midfielder we have who can play all the roles in the box midfield. And we all know about the importance of his off the pitch qualities, namely his leadership and the positive effect he has on the dressing room.
But otoh, he's in terminal decline and this is the last chance we have to get any sort of fee for him. He's 33 and has been playing PL football since 2008 in a bruising, high octane style. Factor in all his injuries, and last season his decline was evident for all to see. The power just isn't there in his legs anymore, he really fades after 50 mins or so and he's at the point where he can't play more than once a week to a high standard.
So the question is: can he still perform for us in the cup games against lesser opposition, and can he still be relied upon for the odd 20 minute cameo in the league? And while Hendo can play any role in the box midfield, can he do any of them to a high enough standard anymore? Only Klopp will know the answers to those questions. But going on last season? His defensive stats were poor so I'm not sure about 6. He obviously can't play 8 like he used to. And in the box midfield he wasn't effective in the attacking midfield role. I think he's now at the point where he'd be best utilised in the Trent role with a 6 beside him and legs around him. He's exactly where Gerrard was in 2013 when he'd lost his physicality and could only play the deep lying playmaker role, effectively having to be shoehorned into the side.
And as regards leaders? We've plenty of senior pro's and wise heads in the squad to compensate for Henderson's loss. And we really could do with another prime age midfielder. As things stand excluding Trent we've got 8 midfielders. 1 is in his prime(Mac), 2 are in the beginning years of their prime(Jones and Dom), 3 are veterans and 2 are kids. That mix isn't quite right. If we're going to rebuild the midfield that means letting go of the old and bringing in the new. Plus letting a fading Henderson go now and replacing him with a prime age midfielder means that's less work for next summer where we'll still have to replace Thiago and assess where Fab is at.
I'd be sad to see him go after all he's done for us, especially in this manner. He's had an amazing career at Liverpool. But if he still wants regular first team football and/or a massive pay-day that sets him and his family up for life? Maybe at this point it's best for both to part ways.
700k for Hendo but Stevie G is on 150k a week there.
Something dont smell right
Guys, keep an eye for an Egyptian player by the name of Ibrahim adel, he was named the player of the tournament for the African cup of nations under 22 last week, a few English clubs want him and newspapers in Egypt are saying that Mo Salah told liverpool to look at him
Let hendo go and make the money this will be his last big contract and can secure the future for generations of his family. We have plenty of leaders in the team
We had milner and hendo last season and we were shocking at times last season especially away from home and a lot of times 2nd we were so flat maybe were over rating the these players have on lifting the squad ,buying a new player might be a bigger lift
Thank god it's Klopp in charge instead of these two morons regarding Henderson. The guy is past his best and needs to go with zero sentiment. Real Madrid wouldn't hesitate in selling any of their players in the same situation and that's why they win regularly. Never heard so much crap!
No doubt the club have plans for HG players people honestly need to relax about it
The same critics are FSGout and probably want a Saudi investor. Double standards.
Why are we talking albout the likes of young projects lime Thuram, Kone, and Lavia in the context of 1-2 vet sales to Saudi?
That $ incoming should have us looking at bringing in the likes of caceifo or tchouameni to replace Fab or Hendo.
And … regards Caceido vs Lavia … BOTH! NEED THE HOMEGROWN < 21 players to create a balanced roster.
The money Henderson will be on, £600k a week is tax free remember.
