      I suspect it’s political from the FA. They want the players who play for the big clubs in the England team for sponsorship and endorsement reasons.

      How can Maguire deserve to be picked when he doesnt even play. Southgate is such a bad manager, hes costing England silverware and wasting all our talent

      The constant stick of Harry Maguire from the media is just boring now, it's near enough bullying. Yes we know he's not being good enough and made mistakes. There are defenders in the PL worse than Maguire. He hardly played for United last season. When he plays for England he's quite decent.

      Would love to know why Dan Burn, who played an integral part in a defence with one of the best records in Europe last season, can't even get a call up to the squad let alone pick up a cap and yet Maguire seems to go straight into the first 11

      I don't trust southgate on his in game decisions especially when he brought sterling on instead of rashford when england were losing against france in the world cup quarter finals, he should be sacked for that! He's coming up with some obvious crap that people have tried to make a point of for the last year and it's taken him this long to realize harry maguire doesn't deserve to play.

      Why doesnt tomori get a chance ever. Champions league player and Seria A winner, connor coady gets picked ahead of him . Seems odd

      He speaks brilliantly well as always. As always if will mean nothing as Colwell watches on from the bench as Maguire sees us through to a quarter final exit.

      He is FOS, he said earlier in the programme "he will see who is in form". I struggle to care about England with this man in charge, next to France he has had at his disposal probably the best pool of players in world football and he has won nothing! Looks and sounds like Pearce is after a job or Southgate is his hero, he was hanging on his every word. I wish wish Simon had been in the studio, that would have been fun.

      Others do deserve to play. This FA puppet is just David Moyes in a waistcoat and does not drop his favourites to the detriment of the team. Tactically inept and scared of his own shadow…

      Southgate “he’s got two World Cup winners ahead of him”
      ETH- playing Lindelof, Shaw and even Casemiro in CB before he played Maguire at CB. Southgate doesn’t even know what he’s talking about. he doesn’t even watch it by the looks of it
