  1. As Mets fan im ok with what they’re doing i just think this could’ve started last year instead of over doing it last off season. For as smart as these analytics guys are and these GM’s it was pretty clear that when they didnt do anything about our offense we were gonna be worse than last season. While the Braves would continue to improve getting Acuna back full strength. It was our offense that let us down last season. Not out pitching.. and while the pitching was ass, and the bullpen ass, its our offense that cant keep up with the rest of the division. Super ass offense.

  2. Throw out the door what Eppler said. When Pres of Ops is hired next year, Cohen will be persuaded to build a good team with infusion of developing rookies

  3. This is/was the only way – I never thought we'd win the WS with this side, I would keep JV and keep the building form the youth, only way to do it

  4. The blue jays haven't done anything sexy or added any big names but the 2 additions to their bullpen means they now have 2 rt hand and one lt hand pitcher coming outta the bullpen throwing 100+ mph…and then they have Romano to finish it up.

  5. as crazy as it sounds, i still think the rangers could go after verlander too
rangers really want to win now, and the owner's pretty damn old now..lmao
evan grant of the dallas morning news reported a few days ago that the owner is very much engaged in these trade discussions, and i really think he wants to push in a lot of chips

  6. I couldn’t agree more! For the NY Mets, Business wise at the end Business is Business! Smart people knows when to cut their losses! Analysis the situation? Keep what works get rid of what doesn’t! Add new investments! To try a different approach to get the long term effects on a big return for the team needs! I would ‘Trade’ McNeil, Pham, Vogelbach, Verlander, Quintana, Carrasco, Cahna & Raley… Build the minor league as best as they can by adding top tier stock prospects?!? Bring up the prospects that are ready now Triple A or ready fine tuning Double A
Player!!! Have them fight for the jobs and positions this year!!! Then Analyze them all this year to get the team wants and needs ready for the next seasons, and” maybe a few after that… Add Free Agents that’s needed to help the team place in the standings!?! I get Shohei Ohtani! He’s worth the money! Especially as a heavy Bat, and position player; Annnd as a pitcher to boot? Ohtani a well Rounded Player 3- all in one!! Why! Ohtani is a player the Mets sorely needs! Especially not only as a high quality Bat but also an effective pitcher!!! A player that can play OF/1B/DH/! Sign Free Agent; 2-RHP Aaron Nola, & Luis Severino and 2-LHP Julio Urias, LHP Blake Snell! Then, add Zach Davies for more SP depth… Get a high class LHP-reliever Josh Hader to complement a high class RHP Reliever Edwin Diaz! Then add good long relievers! Added with a good mix of Prospects Pitchers in long & short reliefs and spot starts….

  7. The Mets front office is doing the right thing. I believe their farm system was middle of the pack, and now they're slowly creeping up. You can't just throw money at players and expect them to make the playoffs. Look at the Padres and their struggles.

  8. Jeez I havent watched in years they still have the same hosts and “insiders”? Get with the program mlb you gotta change things up regularly. No wonder no one watches baseball anymore
