CHELSEA SQUAD SEASON 2023/2024
Following an extensive influx of purchases in the previous summer and January 2023, Chelsea’s approach has taken a different turn during the summer of 2023. The club has actively sold numerous senior players to streamline the wage bill and reduce the overall squad size, motivated in part by Financial Fair Play regulations and sporting considerations.
Last season, the team had an overwhelming number of players, prompting the ongoing active selling of players to maintain a balanced squad. However, it’s not all about departures, as some new players have also joined Chelsea, leading to a significant change in the squad numbers compared to the previous season.
Now, as we look ahead to the thrilling 2023/24 campaign, let’s take a glimpse at Chelsea’s current squad numbers. The team’s transformation is sure to add an element of excitement and anticipation to the upcoming season.
