Odd results can happen but Arg doesnt look like a contender. Romero individual errors cant be fixed overnight. Di Maria has been out of form for months. The midfield looks anonymous.

I think the problem was that Argentina came in overconfident, thinking they'd beat saudi Arabia easily. They underestimated them so they payed the price and were humbled. Lo Celso is very important to Argentina because Lo Celso was the guy that got the ball to Messi now they do not have that and Messi can not go that far back to get the ball. Argentina criminally underestimated Saudi Arabia. You could even feel it from their body language. Complacency played a big role and if they don't fix their sportmanship then they can go ** themselves. There is no place for this kind of attitude in a WC. If they want to be the favorites, then they should take their opponents more seriously regardless of FIFA rankings.
So that's 3 of the Middle eastern teams, Qatari officials tried to cheat for. They wrongly disallowed a goal for Ecuador vs Qatar, they wrong disallowed a goal for Argentina vs Saudi Arabia and they didn't award england a clear penalty vs Iran even tho England were already winning. This is not coincidence. Take a closer look.
