Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has hit out at homophobia in football saying he wants the sport to be “a welcoming place for everyone.”

Writing for The Players Tribune, Ramsdale says he wants his brother Ollie who is gay to come to games without fear of being abused.

  2. Sport was endorsed because it gave people an outlet for natural aggression. Why are they going out of their way to make sport as sterile as possible. The arrogance of the current generation of decision makers is staggering. If sport is a substitute for war, we better hope wars are completely impossible in the near future.
