I'm guessing that he either wanted to play in this game or he's peeved because the club haven't sold him yet. He's a talented player and hopefully he will play Europa League games this year. If only he was about 3 or 4 years younger his peak would likely be coming as Alisson declines, but right now he's not quite close to being able to get the gloves regularly. A loan might be a good idea, but that would mean Adrian as the backup and he's not close to being good enough – despite his efforts in the early part of the 2019-20 season.
