New England Patriots HC Bill Belichick spoke on the QB competition in New England and explained he would give Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe a chance to compete for the starting role. Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, Eric Mangini, and Kevin Wildes debate if Belichick’s comments are something or nothing and discuss if Belichick is on the hot seat this season.

  1. Honestly if belechik was one to compete he would sign Lamar Jackson. And get a #1 WR and a #1 draft pick for a WR out of the draft. Bill honestly needs to go.

  2. Belichick has proven he's barely average without Tom Brady. He should absolutely be in the hot seat. Craft was about to fire him before Brady happened anyway.

He's 78-83 without Tom. This is not a small sample size. It's 10 seasons. The evidence is clear, he's as replaceable now as he was before Brady. Cleveland figured it out, how long will it take NE?

  3. Soon enough, the cravings will set in, then you’ll come crawling back to the Zapper for another taste of sweet, sweet candy

  4. The problem is Mangini doesn't want to admit they're done winning superbowls, Kraft's expectations are unfair and unrealistic because they aren't even close to winning a suoerbowl, so Bill shouldn't be on thr hotseat for unrealistic expectations

  5. Are we going to ignore the fact that this is the same Bill that dropped a pro-bowler for a 6th round pick, or wanted to replace an MVP with a unproven draftee?

  6. The Ridiculousness crew use to be my favorite trio on TV, but now it’s definitely Wildes, Chris, and Nick

  7. I’m not sure what’s more ridiculous…the notion there is a QB battle or that Belichick is on the hot seat. Only media morons believe that. 🙄

  8. Ok seriously this is borderline annoying now. How does wildes justify any of his thoughts about the patriots

  9. The best thing we can all do if we all really hate this show is to stop commenting and stop giving them clicks in the first place. Let this be a wake up call to all who actually hate these guys for being paid millions for spewing nothing worthwhile.

  10. Why are we measuring bill belichick to mike tomlin. The difference is that bill has executive decision on every aspect on that team while tomlin just has to deal with the questionable decisions kevin colbert made. Belichick made the decision for patricia and made the decision not to go after top end talent. Due to the discrepancy in power belichick absolutely deserves more heat than tomlin

  11. Then why on SXM radio yesterday when it was Patriots’ Day, Mac was on the show and it clearly appeared that he was the starting QB as he was talking about his relationship with OB and their approach together? This is confusing.

  12. If these guys can’t watch film and see that Mac is wayy more advanced as a QB than Zappe than no one should be listening to these talking heads. Zappe clearly doesn’t have the skill set and mental game that Mac has

  13. These guys don’t have a clue what they’re talking about and it blows my mind. No wonder Mac struggled last year. He was made for a McDaniels offense. Where he’s smart and can cram every little detail in and for every switch and nuance he has an answer and an outlet on offense. That fits his skill set. You don’t draft Mac and then put him in a vanilla offense w no countermoves and just say “win the game w your athleticism and figure it out” that’s not his strength. O’Brien will give him plenty to chew on and work with. He’ll rebound this year. He’s a stud. and these analysts don’t know how to watch film
