  1. Pellestri plays for the other players instead of our other wide players who tend to take shots at goal rather than provide assista

  2. if we get an actual striker, pellestri will have an incredible season as will the striker. If he goes on loan or is sold, the striker will suffer for the first season. Pellestri and Sancho are the only wingers we have that have pass first thinking and I think Sancho is a little hesitant because he doesn't have a natural striker in the box. The last time we had a proper number 9 and he got the service he deserved, i'd almost say it was when RvP was there. Maybe Zlatan, but i don't he had the same level of passers as RvP did. Right now, we have antony, garnacho and rash and probably who are all shoot first second and third options so except little assists from them, so you're depending on bruno, erikson, mount and shaw to deliver balls into the striker. What i like about pellestri and sancho is that they look to get the ball into the box and then look for the striker to pass it to, none of the other wingers are like that. Pellestri last night kept driving into the box and was needing a striker to be on the end of his pass or make space, take up space. If Holjund comes in pellestri will have a 10 assist season for sure. I could actually see pellestri and amad push antony down the line if antony doesn't work on his end product around the box more, and sancho could get back to dortmund sancho levels if he's able to play along a natural striker and someone like rash. But i hope we get to see more of pellestri he deserves the chance bc honestly his cameo's he hardly puts a foot wrong and quite often a catalyst for an attack.

  3. We don't have depth in the wide area?🤔we've got
    1.Antony
    2.Sancho ,
    3.Amad ,
    4. Rashford
    5, Garnacho
    6 Pellistry
    7. even martial plays better from the left
So many players are competing for 2 positions , I think we have too many wide players .
I have no doubt that ETH will start the season with Rashford and Antony , but I hope he's fair this time . Antony got way too many chances last season even though he was shit in a lot of games and played selfish

  4. Rashford doing rashford things again …

He really needs to understand that the reason he scored the goals he did early last season was because of the system and not his unilateral take ons

  5. We finally have another keeper that isn't glued to the goal line. And can take balls in the air. He can even kick the ball. Bonus. What else from the tour. A lot of the players very uninspiring. Mount didn't show much. A lot of pit a pat play back and forth across the park. That ultimately cost us games. If you are going to do that it has to be Ole moments. Like watching Barcelona. With Utd it is more like. Oh shit moments, as the ball hits their net. Defence. One word. Crap. If you are going to leave players of the quality of Real Madrid sitting in the box in free space continuously, then lucky only two goal loss. Attack. Oh dear. Chase all the way up the pitch only to frighten the seagulls on the stadium roof. Or hit the cameraman at the corner flag. These are highly paid professional players. They are trained and paid to kick a ball. You would think with some degree of accuracy. Anthony is a prime candidate. He couldn't hit a barn door from 5 feet. The goals he scores with the curling left foot are the accidents. 95 % hit a seagull up the arse. Rashford isn't much better. When he isn't falling over his own feet. Garnacho much the same. Shoot leaning back. Ball comes back with snow on it. Football 101. Pellistri is a run at player. I like run at players. But very fragile. He falls over if you breathe on him. But entertaining. Conclusion. Not fantastic. We have some better players. There is potential. Attack. Inconsistent and pretty hopeless. As you said the other day. We need the scrappy goals. We need more goals. Not just the sizzlers from Anthony's one in a hundred on target. Or Rashford when he doesn't fall over the ball. I agree Utd doesn't have a super star. Not many clubs do. But what we have should do better. Train them to at least get close to hitting the net. The seagulls will thank them.

  6. Not a bad pre season all in all. Players got vital minutes, however not sure dragging the squad all around the US was necessary
I sure a lot of fans will agree that Mainoo grasping at the chances he was given and undoubtedly forcing his way into the managers 1st team plans is at the top of the positives list. Shame he got injured and hopefully he has a quick return.
I think the pre season games show we are still in need of a midfielder with defensive abilities (casamiro can't do it all by himself!)
We also need a new CB

  7. Pellestri in pre season and few matches last year has proven more than Antony in an entire season with way more time than earned. Love Garnacho who is perhaps better at 1v1 but Pellestri more rounded but dangerous, and electric.

  8. It's looks like Rashford has bulked up a bit. If that's the case it definitely has affected his speed, agility and his form to some extent. It's only preseason though so let's hope he starts finding his feet by the time the Wolves game comes about.

  9. Good Video Ste 👍

We was gash as the same as we was last year! to many touches in the final 3rd with no end product!, it be good if wingers or any forward left or right put in a cross or a good pass! then we be winning more!

  10. am glad u see that steve rashford mount, bruno, shaw, antony who aint playing shit even tho antony will work defensively but he give away the ball 2much in atack mount is trying but rashford, bruno, shaw,i want to know if they or going to play more than the younger lads who or showing more than they on di field erickson at timed is very sloppy also but be he show a lyttle improvment in the game against Dartmond

  11. I love Pellistri I’ve been banging on about him for a long time if you watch him for Uruguay he’s sensational. He’s been working with players like Cavani Suarez and Forlan he’s playing against defenders like Godin from athleti. Nunez in that squad too. This kid is going to a star don’t fuck it up Utd.

  12. i d sell Diallo keep Pellistri and play him in domestic cups and sub him on for the prem like we did with Garnacho. On Garnacho, he s overhyped and not ready to start. Plus he only has a chance to start in the first place when Marcus plays through the middle cause we ve had no CF till now. With Hojlund that wont happen as much and thats good. He s in danger of believing the hype and ruining himself like Greenwood. Keep him grounded. Hope Amrabat comes in, him and Mainoo make us injury-proof. I dont rate Bissaka at all, wont be surprised he s binned in Jan with Dalot new deal. Ten Hag is gonna wanna play his style this season and the guy cant control a ball or pass let alone cross.. his days are numbered and I m happy with that. On Maguire.. i dont care what happens to him. If he s binned you gotta sign someone and Disasi s gone to Chelsea so there s nobody we re even looking at for that position right now anyway.. Hope Henderson to Forest happens cause they re talking about Turner now if Raya goes to Arsenal..

  13. Diallo will become stronger when he returns from his injury. Mentally.
He need to replace Antony. Start on first team w/ Bruno and Mount.

    Hojlund
    Rashie Bruno Diallo
    Casemiro Mount
    Malacia Martinez Varane Dalot
    Onana

  14. Btw, Onana is the new General of Defense. He will make all of the backs accountable for dodgy behaviour defending. Jonathan Davies perhaps?

  15. Pellistri needs to be given a chance from what I've seen so far. I actually disagree as we do have lots of options on the wings. Rashford, Sancho, Garnacho on the left. Antony, Pellistri and possibly Amad on the right. I'd like to see Pellistri get 20 to 25 games this season to give Antony a rest and possibly even see Antony on the left.

  16. Us better then Arsenal???? Manchester United better then Arsenal? With all due respect Hell no! Just got rid of Jones and Maguire, Martial & Mctomminay is still there. Who plays when Bruno, Casemiro Rashford or Varane needs to rest? 0 depth at all however there is quality in the 1st 11

  17. It will be another tough seas on, but we have a good manager now, so there’s hope. Injuries will be critical as ever. When we’ve done well in recent seasons detractors have often said it was because other teams underperformed. However, it’s become clear now that most seasons one or two of the top six underperform, so we need to make sure it’s not us this year. Every game counts and every detail
matters. It won’t be a boring season that’s for sure.
