Nothing but respect for both fighters here, but that should not have been a split decision. Petchtanong clearly outstruck Akimoto in this one. Once the damage to the ribs had set in late in round 2, it was just a matter of time. Akimoto was a freaking tiger, but when that rib pain started to take away his ability to combo, his game plan sort of fell apart.
Five round and akimoto get hard like that in the first round ? 😂
The other dude is probably from thai boxing, the first round is always for check

Why split decision? That judge was blind?
i wanted to be biased as i fully support and have a deep respect for Akimoto and i actually dont like petchtanong. however as much as i was hoping for a win for my boy Akimoto, Petchtanong executed his plan perfectly and was very technical and methodical. i cannot fault his perfomance. respect to both men and even more to Akimoto for standing firm through to the 5th round, even with such a big injury
What that judge was looking at that fight wasn't close happy that man didn't get rob he fought a good fight
