      Look how good he was for england. Hes never been fully fit for us and competing eith rodri. Never to mind the standard poor first season under pep. Like grealish, like mahrez ect. He was always brought in as a decent rotation player. He is never replacing rodri. Boy just needs time to get into the groove of city.

      There will always be boo boys. We even had them when we were crap. Pep believes and saw something in Kalvin to sign him and offer a six year contract.

      It's sad that we judge our players for pre season performence. The point of pre season is to acknowledge mistakes and fix em. Yes, it's hard to compete with Rodri, but I remember most people were pissed about Jack, now he's improved, and he was a key player on our treble journey. So I think Kalvin will find his way, so let's not put hateful pressure on our players. 🙂

      He never be in the right position to recrieve pass and when he got the ball he just pass it straight away without trying something like drag opponent out of position etc. I love him but I think he's not pep's no 6.. we need proper rodri backup

      I think he'll definitely get more game time, bearing in mind that he's hopefully free of injury…I think he's a good player,You have too remember other player like Ake,stones etc it took them a bit too get into the pep way and look now unplayable!

      I feel like people forget that they literally said the same about Rodri in his first season, He's too slow, make so many mistake, didn't do long balls often, always pass backwards, to the point I didn't see he can become Fernandinho successor

      Im predicting this season will be Calvins breakout campaign. We hav the smartest coach in the league. He knows what he’s about. Phillips will make a difference this year

      I think he's been solid in pre-season & before his injuries last year, he played well. just needs the confidence and regular minutes. injuries have slowed down adaptation time. also reckon we could play him in a slightly more advanced role too sometimes like he did for England in the euros

      Kalvin is a city player, so I have nothing but good things to say. It’s up to City fans to decide whether to slag our club’s players off, but not me. The other thing I want to say is what a wonderful human being he is as well. City never get it wrong and I don’t think they have this time. Remember Rodri getting slagged off for not being good enough to remove Fernandinho and now he’s what? The best cdm in the world. How did that happen? TIME!!!

      He has FLOPPED and that is FACTS, on top what has he done to DELIVER for city the man went to the WORLD CUP and come back as a beast , injured and come back slow. Give him another SEASON regardless but the man is not on CITY'S level

      Ruben
      Stones
      Cancelo or ake
      Walker or akanji
      Rodri
      De bruyne
      Koviac or phillips
      Grealish
      Haaland
      Then bernado
      Then there's to much good players as subs
      Foden,rico,phillips and laporte and more I mean we need to get rid of dead wood in our squad

      I want him gone because he is so unreliable with his fitness and whenever Rodri needs a rest, there is 1 million times downgrade I know there has been a lot of players over the past couple of years who have struggled in the first season, but not many have struggled to this extent, and we haven’t even seen glimpses of what he can do

      I agree with you mate
      He should be given more time
      as a player. Look at Jack Grealish for
      an example and his 2nd season was a lot
      better. City owners wouldn't sign him if they
      didn't think he was a quality player. Great video!
