I might get shot down here but I honestly don't see it, he's not influential enough on games imo at least not for England. Can't remember his last motm but perhaps I am missing something?
Great in tight spaces, quick, skill full, and can really wack a ball.Would love him at City
I believe his best position would be on that inside Left. Sort of like a hybrid Supporting striker/Inside forward position. He's such a central thinking player who would be excellent at breaking up an opponents High Press with his ball control and dribbling ability. And that unending gas tank of stamina of his? Perfect for pressing Centre backs and Defensive Midfielders into mistakes.
Now, First thing he needs to work on is his finishing output. Long range and short range shooting training would be perfect after regular training exercises.👌
Secondly, he needs to work on quicker decision making on when to release the the ball to a teammate and when to shoot. Ive seen a few lapses in his connection with Lukaku, but I feel he would improve these attributes with a great positional Target man like Lukaku. I'll give him time on this. A simple 5 a side could aid with close and further proximity connections with Lukaku if they are on the same team often.
He could really end up dropping Goals and assist ratios which would be off the roof 😳
But what do I know? I'm no football coach, just a football enthusiast 😅. Wish the lad all the best and hope he grabs this opportunity under Tuchel to be one of the best in the world in that position. Like Tuchel did with Jorginho and Kante 👍

his ball control is very similar to Fernando Torres when he was still playing at Liverpool
His dribbling ability is so underrated. The way he just glides past players at times is majestic. Beautiful player to watch when he is at his silky best.

Mount is a generational talent. He is easily on the level of KDB and I believe he will surpass him in the coming season. Expecting huge world record breaking bids to be coming for him this summer or the next. He’s sublime.
