  2. Your English accent. BRILLIANT!!!!!!! We Ecuadorians are so proud of U!!!!! ECUADOR represent and respect. The world will be yours young one. ✨🇪🇨🌟

  3. I was born in USA but both my parents are Ecuadorian. Since I was little I dreamed of playing for Ecuador but never reached my dream. I’m proud of this kid for choosing the country he identifies with and hope he has a great career for club and country. Vamos Jeremy Sarmiento, Ecuador está contigo!

  4. Dude didn't choose to play for Ecuador because he felt a deep connection with his parents home country… He chose Ecuador because he didn't have another option… Kind of sucks but I still wish him the best

  5. Wow so proud of him, and will cheer up for him as an Ecuadorian raised in Spain and moved to England as well, proud ecuadorian. 🇪🇨 💗

  6. It’s simple, he chose Ecuador because he’s not good enough to play for England, it isn’t hard to see. This is the case for all these players, they give other reasons but it’s lies. Any player would chose the team they have the most chance of winning something with and when you’re comparing England to Ecuador, there’s no argument.

  7. We love him at the Albion, such maturity and style. So I will be routing for Ecuador today. A great interview in the Guardian with this player also gives me great hopes for Ecuador.

  8. Well he didn't really choose Equador over England did he because there's not a chance he would make the England team to begin with, let's be real it was Equador or nothing

  9. Saw him play today against Qatar. He actually could have helped England since he is a good dribbling midfielder with ball retention everything English midfielders don't have. So happy he chose to play for Ecuador.
