  1. I agree. Taunting and grabbing an ankle is not as bad stomping or kicking but give a tech or flagrant one (like they did for the minor penalties), flagrant 2 for the kick/stomp.

  2. He was provoked obviously. I do not agree with Shaq about the chest stomp though. That was far more aggressive and dangerous to the vitals.

  3. Basketball needs more players disciplining players.

In hockey, Embiid gets scraped immediately if he pulls that stunt, possibly jumped by multiple guys. Absolutely no chance he gets away with that in NHL playoffs. Equivalent in hokey would be using the stick to stab a guy below the belt. If someone actually kicked someone else that would be an unthinkable act of violence given the skate is a sharp as a sword.

In baseball he gets 99 mph right beside his face, or up his A**, next time he's up to bat, no chance that doesn't happen if he kicked a guy in the b*lls during a slide.

I'm no NFL fan but I know there is no shortage of opportunities to send a message to your opponent if you feel that they have violated the game in some way.

In basketball it seems as though disciplining your opponent is not part of the game. Who is to say that a player on the Nets could not have had a leg spasm and kicked Embiid accidently once or twice. Would that have been so bad, an accidental leg spasm pointed in Embiids direction, for the sake of honor and pride.

Anyway that's my two cents on this whole thing.

  4. this isnt as bad as people make it out to be. not even a real kick and point of contact was to the hamstring, not the groin. i wouldnt let a rival/opponent walk over me as well. gotta stand up for yourself come on now

  5. EMBID UnderCuts Net with Body & Shoves with Both Hands . On LOB he Can't Defend . NBA should suspend EMBID for Next Game . SETTLED . 76ers Win Anyway ???

  6. Problem with Shaq is he is too close minded. He doesn’t like to reason outside of his narrow worldview. You can see it in some of the most idiotic stances he’s had through the years. Sometimes it’s almost comical. At least Chuck can be reasonable.

  7. The idea that you HAVE TO strike someone because they disrespect you…..

    Emotionally unwell people out there.
Then again, it is sports. It's all perfectly predictable.
