The latest Chelsea News is that Chelsea have rejected a £40m bid from West Ham for midfielder Conor Gallagher. Gallagher has been deemed ‘surplus to requirements’ at Chelsea FC. Pochettino is looking for multiple midfield reinforcements at Chelsea but Chelsea signing Moises Caicedo from Brighton has stalled as Brighton are still insisting that Levi Colwill is part of the deal. @RomanMlejnek The problem with Chelsea is they don't see Effort & Talent until they go away and shine some where else! I'd never sell Gallagher for any amount. I love the guy. Casadei didn't play so well against Brighton, he is good but not there YET!
I don’t know why we haven’t gone in for palinha or tchouameni at this point with the caicedo being dragged out and they would both be cheaper. We need depth in midfield so if Gallagher is sold for 45m we should definitely try to get lavia straight away.

GB: Football is quite funny, Rice was worth 105million, Caicedo is worth 80-100million to Brighton. What would Reece James be worth 100million or am I wrong? But our Gallagher isn't worth more than 40million? . Football transfer fee has gotten inflated therefore if Mason Mount with a year contract left was sold for 60million. Obviously Gallagher is worth 60million quids because he is got a few more years on his contract. Cus he is an academy player or he is got little or no PR and hype around him we tend to look down on dude. Gallagher is a fine player and he is got loads of prospects, he is a better scoring midfielder than Mount, better at box-to-box and aggressive with the most work rate in our team. Goals, defensive skills, and work rate are important if that is all he brings. His only flaws so far is his occasional miscalculated interceptions and sometimes he looses the ball but he can chase one when he does. All that he can work on. He seems like someone willing to learn, fight and wear the SHIRT which is KEY.
N:B If we sell Gallagher we gonna regret it. Brighton won’t take no for an answer 🤬 Colwil is a Chelsea player and we don’t want to let him go! Caicedo needs to go on strike and hand in a transfer request to force the transfer through. Chelsea should look to Fulham and offer Hudson-Odoi plus cash for Palhinha. Palhinha – Fernandez and Caicedo would be a killer midfield. We need a new no1, get Maignan – Costa or Reya. Cherki from Lyon and Osimehen from Naples should be signed to.
Kudus a very decent option excellent player, should be WITH!!!!! Gallagher must stay, he has come from chelsea academy. Was one of the few players last season who gave 100%, and wears the badge with pride.
Brightons position makes sense to me… They have a player they know Chelsea is desparate for. You said it yourself, there's not another player on the market that fits the profile Chelsea need and if they don't get him will have a hard time challenging for a champions league spot. Also Chelsea overpay for for players all the time and have the money. Why wouldn't Brighton hold out? If the sale doesn't go through they get to keep a class player and can always sell him later. His value isn't going anywhere
