South Korea head coach Paulo Bento says he is wary of an “aggressive” Brazil side that has few weaknesses, but he wants to see his team attack when they two sides clash in an international friendly in Seoul on Thursday.
Speaking Wednesday at the team’s training camp in Paju, Bento said he expects Korea to play more defensively that in its World Cup qualification campaign, but they should still maintain the attacking style that helped them book their ticket to Qatar 2022.
Having Premier League Golden Boot co-winner Son Heung-min in the starting XI will help, but Bento dismissed a suggestion that the club scoring struggles of key strikers Hwang Hee-chan of Wolves and Bordeaux’s Hwang Un-jo will have carry over to their national team form.
