Kristian Blummenfelt and Chelsea Sodaro were on top of the world in 2022.
The former, coming off victory at the Tokyo Olympics, went on to win the Ironman World Championship, Ironman 70.3 World Championship and Collins Cup. The latter produced one of the all-time great long distance performances to claim victory in Kona at the Ironman World Championship, doing so just 18 months after giving birth to her first child.
However, things have not been plain sailing since. Kristian still searches for that elusive PTO win, almost the only victory that has evaded him in all of triathlon, after missing out in Ibiza by just 20 seconds. Chelsea has landed back to back DNFs – firstly in Ibiza followed by Challenge Roth when she looked nailed on for a podium.
Both stars are heading to Milwaukee for the 2023 PTO US Open with a point to prove. But can they put things right and get their season back on track as it heads towards the business end of the triathlon calendar?

Quit trying to make Sadaro a thing. Lucky to be T10.
Sodaro is too cocky for me, when you have Ryf’s accolades come out with that attitude. Also, look at Gentle, Barclay, Haug, they’re all way better than Sadaro and have more sportsmanship. Make sure your confidence scales with your results (more than 1)
I'm not sure if it's the way these video's are being edited, but Chelsea Sodaro is not coming across well. Confidence and self belief is one thing, but she's is coming across as arrogant and full of herself, which isn't a good combination.
Sorry in advance and respect for her acheivements, but to me Sodaro sounds like a teenager here, creating drama for nothing…such a wanna-be😂
