  1. Had a double collapse of the right lung about 7 years ago and ended up having part of it biopsied and removed. Ended up having 3 months off work before the surgery sites were healed enough before returning to a reasonably physical job. Considering the sheer difference between my job and playing professional football I wouldn't be surprised if Mullin is missing for a decent chunk of the season unfortunately.

  2. Why don't Manchester United establish a B version of the team that compete in the lower tiers like some of the Spanish teams do ? You can expose your bright young talents to the highest amount of challenges before they are ready for fhe senior team. Even if they are not ready enough, you cpuld sell them at good fee considering their experience.

  3. Those Wrexham fans should be ashamed of the abuse they were throwing at Bishop. Booing a child’s every touch. Disgraceful. Hope they get relegated

  4. A punctured lung, is known as a pnuemothrax. The lungs are surrounded by a pleural cavity, when the lining of the cavity is broken (usually due to trauma), air in the lung escapes into the plural cavity as a result of negative pressure. This causes the plural cavity to expand and compress the lung.

It can vary in severity significantly, a full pnuemothrax i.e. the collapse of the entire lung is a medical emergency and requires an intercostal drain being inserted into the plural space, to allow the lung to re-expand.

I would assume (without seeing the players x-ray), his pnuemothrax was partial. Thus would not necessarily require immediate drainage, but close monitoring and repeat chest x-rays to ensure the lung is re expanding independently.

In a hospital setting a healthy adult would expect to spend between 3 to 7 days in hospital post partial pneomatrox, assuming no complications.

Re long term recovery, several weeks would elapse before "moderate" levels of excersive could be undertaken again.

    Hope that's helpful.
    Enjoying all your content.

  5. Hannibal would get fouled every time he got the ball and still did bits. Wrexham fans all learned what they were last year on Disney and were yelling abuses at the kids. Proud of them though, they fought hard even after going down to 10.

  6. It’s the problem with ten hag philosophy. Too many minutes spent in your own third. The best teams, even his ajax team, play the majority of games further up at least beyond your own half. Guess what, the longer you spend in opposition final third the more likely you are to score more goals. I know i know i’m preaching quantum mechanics now 🤣🤣 but seriously we score less than brighton. This is systemic and not as simple as we dont have a striker. Brighton had welbeck scoring 6-7 goals a season as well. Ten hag needs to look at himself in the mirror and be more aggressive

  7. Most of the points you mention about Man United youth team against Wrexham it’s pretty much how women’s football compares to men’s football?🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

  9. It was great experience for the under 21s. very compettetive and entertaininfg game to watch hannibal and the 2 full backs looked very good

  10. In terms of Mullins’ healing time. Most likely 8-10 weeks to get back to normal (including broken rib healing if that was the cause) in terms of full match fitness 🤷‍♂️ up in the air… If he’s a non-smoker… Not too much longer than 10 weeks. My cousin had one of these from a rugby incident not too long ago.

  11. 6-8 weeks for a punctured lung recovery normally with no lasting side effects either so with time to get his fitness back probably 12 weeks until he’s back playing

  12. Hannibal is above because he had Birmingham minutes. And prem minutes also. I knew had grit when he made that crunching tackle against Liverpool last season 😂

  13. Thought Alvaro was poor of I'm honest. Loads flair and technical ability with a nice assist. But he forgot he was a defender on too many occasions.

  14. Fernandez balled out!! Him, Hannibal, & Gore were the standouts for sure. I thought the keepers left a lot to be desired and I really wanted Isak to be more impactful

  15. Punctured lung may or may not heal properly. I feel for him. Recently an NFL quarterback had it. Still hasn't returned after 3 years. Football is more demanding than NFL. I pray that I am wrong

  16. 1 thing I learned is 90% of the youth won't even get a sniff at 1st team footy and you know why? Coz there noway near world class or the level united need sick and tired of us as a club pumping money into these kids for them to never make it and dissappear for a few quid litrally hannibal is levels above but even he wouldn't make it as a regular 1st team player am sorry ste but are youth are shite the only one worth keeping and he's been made out to be the local rapist and blacklisted I'd take greenwood back in the fold over any of these dogshit kids 😂garnacho and maino litrally the only decent youth to come out of Carrington in the last 5 years 😂

  17. Hannibal is trapped….He desperately needs 40 games of Top tier football next season… He needs to move…. Insert a buy-back clause

  18. This is why you play full strength teams in cup competitions against lower league opposition.
We played it about well but a mature efl team didnwhat they set out to do.

  19. Coach Ten Hag must be brave and make Hannibal play with the first team and gain experience and be Brno Frandas Hannibal's replacement. The next club's future will be at no cost to the club to buy another player in the midfield in the coming years. The coach must give him enough time for Hannibal and I noticed today that Hannibal is under pressure. Psychologically, will he stay with the club and play with the first team, or will he leave the accounts of coach Tin Hag?

  20. I was there and Hannibal wasn't the best player on the pitch. He gave the ball away cheaply too often. Fernandez was definitely a cut above.

  21. I was at that game and I thought Alvaro Fernandez looked fantastic. In a game where most of our players were getting physically dominated, he looked at ease out there and was physically dominated Wrexham players. I think he might be ready for some premier league football.

  22. Nebraska football (American football) had a player in the 90’s play an entire game with a collapsed lung.

Nebraska ran the ball about 90% of the time and of that 90% this player carried the ball probably 50-60% of the time.

He was back after about 2 weeks off after that.

    If it’s punctured I’d assume he’s out 1-2 months.
