  1. Player’s are told what to say in interview’s nowadays. The only reason players move clubs is because of the earning potential. That’s all they care about.

  2. He's a top guy! I watched his interviews during the Euro 2020 tournament and thought he would fit in perfectly at Arsenal, not just being a top player but his drive to be the best, his calmness, and being really humble, all fit with a Mikel Arteta player. 2 years later and here he is!

  3. He’s at Arsenal because he’s too insular to move outside of London. If he was truly interested in testing himself and winning trophies then City was the obvious move. Not sour grapes just a realistic assessment of the situation here.

  4. In 6years time, Arsenal will look back and conclude this is another historical chapter in the line of overhyped British players.

  5. Wow….know exactly how the Irish fans feel now when he confessed his immense pride and love in playing for them, then the next week was pulling an England shirt on.
Hes talking a great game here, ain't he,looking forward to watching him fail, and all these Arsenal fans who think they've won the league already end up with another season with nothing.
You had your chance last season and bottled it massively. All the other teams have improved as well, so no guarantees you'll even finish top 4.

  6. 1st thgs 1st; whilst not my favourite pundit, heres wishing ol Shaka the best. No1 deserves t b struck down with ill health least not caught on-air in veiw of worldwide veiwing public.
Maybe ol sexy-Dexi is fooling every Gooners fan but if he is then he really is a future TOP actor cos he genuinely seems t b glad he's a new addition t the Gooners family and the way he speaks highly of gaffer (Art) shows a future bromance is developing.
His talk of his unexpected immediate connectivity wid ol Trosse is heartwarming an hopefully sets up a real great on-pitch partnership which inspires Arsenal t gr8 thgs.
Here's hoping it really works out f him at Arsenal an he lives up to atleast 3/4s of that eyewatering over-inflated pricetag f HIS sake aswell as AFC.

  7. He's a happy chappie ain't he? He speaks well and genuinely so wants Arsenal t do well. Hope it works out well f him in his time with the Arsenal family.

  8. Arts seems t definitely b built f the future; if he can keep them fit an turn all this newfound young talent into 'tomorrows' Kdb, TAA, John Terrys,VVD etc then it sets us in good stead t win big thgs or atleast challenge at the very top level. Must win something subtle soon tho…

  9. Top guy, probably one of the Prems best interceptors, long passers, CDM, CMs,switch players an all that but the Jury's still out f me on that eyewatering over-inflated pricetag.
Hopefully he'll justify an live up t it f us as well as f previous club Spam.
