People seem to misunderstand Mark here. No one said Ramsdale is a bad goalkeeper or had a bad season last year.
He is literally asking why Arsenal didn't bought a GK like Raya, Onana, Allison or Ederson. A ball playing GK is so crucial in this day and age. And Ramsdale isn't one. Almost all of his stats in that department were as bad or worse than De Gea's.
Not a City ot liverpool fan , but please dont bring Onana in the same conversation as Allison or Ederson. The guy aint even played a match for them yet.
I'm an Arsenal fan and I actually agree with this.. One of the only mistakes Arteta has made while managing us, is selling Emi Martinez and then buying Ramsdale a year later, due to Leno not being good enough.

Ramsdale is a good modern keeper, his shot stopping could be better.

It’s not surprising these questions have gone around because I find Ramsdale very complacent since he signed his new contract, and not only that there is no competition for his place

He made about 2 errors last season that cost us a goal. Apart from that he was great overall! I wouldn’t get rid of him.

Guys saved them on so many occasions especially when their defense had it's problems.

Mark, mate. Jog on. You’re judging Aaron on a pre-season game and disregarding his outstanding performers last season. Also, you’re making assumptions on Onana before he’s even kicked a ball in the premier league. Step away from the YouTube highlights and you’ll see his ball distribution needs a lot of work, and that weakness in his game will most definitely be highlighted in the prem.
