      1 or 2 seasons as Caicedo understudy and Santos looks as if he is the next premier DM that would dominate in years to come . Optimism thus far is quite high for next season .

      I think we aren't considering the fact Brighton had practically 80-90% of their first team from last season on show this morning & that's a team that qualified for Europe. On d other hand, Chelsea has almost 80% of players that haven't played together prior to this preseason. Frankly I'm very impressed with the level of our cohesion at the moment. A largely mix & match team got a W against a better defined team. That's a very big W.

      We have alot to build up from this preseason games & most for me are very positive.

      Everyone who’s writing us off due to the clear-outs haven’t watched us the last 3 years. We needed talents with a stomach to level up to a fight, not always pointing as the underdog. Poch put Spurs on a map and now we provide him a clean squad of some of the most serious talents in football to work with, better trust no goals era is a thing of the past.

      Gallagher will be a good super sub to close off games , needs to play upfront like a forward 8 though , he looks awfully uncomfortable receiving balls in central mid , we lose a lot from his inability to stay composed , receive the ball after scanning surroundings and scanning again to see if he can manipulate space or see a quick pass forward to open defences instead he just passes back and the space we potentially had to take advantage of closes , plus he makes a lot of off passes in midfield because he succumbs to pressure

      Bashir Humphreys is someone nobody is talking about, but he’s an excellent defender and with Wesley Fofanna out with serious injury. I would certainly give him his spot in the first team 🤔

      There is no DM…that was the obvious thing in that match. No one was breaking the play. Brighton we’re taking the midfield, am good 6 would have won possession for us. Santos would be an understudy, to any DM we sign

      Most exciting I have seen Chelsea in a long time. Casedei is a real talent – likewise with Jackson / Nkunku and Santos. Chilly looke back to his best too. Exciting season ahead !!

      Gallagher looks a lot better closer to goal. He cant progress the ball from deep. Sterling is good at turning when receiving, but lacks anything else. Nkunku doesnt feel like Prem ST especially when compared to Jackson

      Hi Blues Lion. I must tell u this, u doing a good job. I want u use the platform to keep tell old players like Chukwuemeka and Sterling to learn to pass ball to team mates particularly at goal areas. If u watch the match against Brighton. Chukwuemeka should have passed the ball to Nkunku before he shoots and luckily the ball rolled to Nkunku. The same done by sterling when he knew he could have passed the ball but he decided to shoot. That’s poor ball management considering football is about scoring goals then why they wasting opportunities. This is carats because it costs us so much last season and u can imagine Chelsea not playing in any big competition this season aside FA and Carabao cups.
      Imagine if a top striker like Jackson made 3 assists then all other players should play professional football and not play childish selfish football when we (fans like us) don’t care who scores the goal. Pls use ur platform to shout it loud and let the old players know we don’t care who scores but we believe in the team (Chelsea) and not individuals.
      For crying out loud, it’s not a one on one situation or counter attack involving just one player but when the goal area is crowded…..then PASSSS UR BALLLLLLL!! I hate selfish game!!

      Nini I was at the game and I was still looking forward to your review, I know it was only pre season but most of the fans are really impressed by Nico Jackson, also most fans I spoke to does no wanna see Conor leave, “I wanted to get as much feed back as I could and most of them love to see the transformation on the pitch, but wow I’m glad I was at the game the atmosphere was amazing can’t imagine being in Stamford Bridge @bluelionstv
