Clearly a deal with Madrid had been agreed, they can't afford to pay 200m, so they've told him next yr leave on a free and we'll pay you 1m+ a week. Would be so funny if a Saudi club swooped in.
You know I don't think anyone wants kane apart from bayern. Manu can't get him, Arsenal won't, Chelsea won't, Liverpool can't. It's a combination of tactics and rivalries. What manger wants a striker that plays deep? What clubs would pay? Will kane go to rivals? Publicly, we are only hearing about Bayern, and I'm worried about that because it means the rest of the prem isn't interested, which is weird.
Tuchel seems to be the only one who wants a striker that drops deep, makes creative passes, and makes late runs into the six yard. I think others want sprinters to make runs and drive the ball into the 6 yard, off a pass like haaland. Manu are broke, so they're going for Hoijland. Arsenal would never. Chelsea would never. Why would Mbappe go to a loser club like Spurs? Madrid is where he wants to go. Nowhere else. Why even bring this subject up? The only premiership club that suits him is City. And he won't go there because they've already got Haaland, and it's a club without historical greatness. It's a plastic club without soul. So he can go to a plastic City and earn tons of money, or he can go to Madrid, still earn tons of money, but become one of the greatest players of all time, playing for the biggest football club in the world.
